KPT Industries Ltd announced that its shareholders approved the re-appointment of Mr. Sanjay Ramakant Buch, Mr. Niraj Shishir Shirgaokar, and Ms. Rama Sanjay Kirloskar as Independent Directors for a second term spanning five consecutive years. This decision was made following a resolution passed during a shareholder meeting held on August 08, 2026.

The company determined that the association of these individuals would be beneficial to the organization, based on their professional expertise and experience. These directors are not liable to retire by rotation for this extended term.

As a Senior Advocate and Solicitor practicing in Mumbai for three decades, Mr. Buch has deep experience in the regulatory environment. His practice includes advising on Corporate Laws, Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities Laws, Insider Trading, Corporate Governance, and Foreign Exchange Management Laws. He also serves as a legal advisor to multinational and foreign Indian companies.

Mr. Niraj Shishir Shirgaokar (DIN-00254525)
Mr. Shirgaokar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Bombay University and possesses 15 years of experience with professionally managed multi-national companies. He is the Managing Director of The Ugar Sugar Works Ltd, an entity of the SB Group, which involves interests in power, ethanol, IMFL, and foundries. Mr. Shirgaokar co-founded iResearch Services Pvt. Ltd. in 2008 and previously served as President of South IndiaSugar Mills Association (SISMA). He also completed his term as President of the India Sugar Mills Association (ISMA).

Ms. Rama Sanjay Kirloskar (DIN-07474724)
Ms. Kirloskar, a biology graduate from Bryn Mawr College, USA, is currently the Joint Managing Director of Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) and also serves as Managing Director of Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited (KEPL), a joint venture with Ebara Corporation, Japan. She holds positions on the Board of Karad Projects and Motors Limited and Prakar Investments Private Limited. Furthermore, she is part of the Executive Council for Accelerating Growth of New India's Innovations (AGNll).
