Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Completes 35 MW Solar Plant Addition, Reaching 105 MW DC Capacity​

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL) has successfully completed the installation of an additional 35 MW DC Solar Plant in Jalna, Maharashtra. The plant commenced operations on August 6, 2026, significantly enhancing the company's total solar power generation capacity at its Jalna site.

Following the commissioning of the new facility, the overall capacity of the Solar Plants at Jalna has been enhanced to a total of 105 MW DC. The new plant is located in Mantha, Helas, Jalna 431504, Maharashtra.

The project enhancement was completed at an approximate cost of ₹ 97 Crores, net of recoverable taxes. The investment was financed through a combination of borrowing and internal accruals.

Power generated from the expanded Solar Plants will be used for captive consumption within the company, which is expected to benefit KFIL through reduced power costs.

KIRLOSIND Stock Price Movement​

Kirloskar Industries Limited slipped on Friday to settle at ₹3759.60 after shedding 0.24% from the previous close. The shares concluded trading amid a volume of 4,090 shares.
