
KEC International Secures ₹1,002 Crore Orders, Strengthens T&D Order Book
Fresh Orders Across Transmission, Substations and Cables Segments
New Delhi, February 24: KEC International, a flagship company of RPG Group, announced on Tuesday that it has secured new orders worth ₹1,002 crore across multiple business verticals, further reinforcing its position in the infrastructure EPC space.The newly won contracts span transmission and distribution, along with cables and conductors, adding significant momentum to the company’s order inflows for the year.
Transmission and Distribution Business Drives Order Wins
The company’s Transmission and Distribution business has secured a composite order in India covering 220/132 kV transmission lines, substations, and extra high voltage cabling.In addition to domestic contracts, KEC International has won an order for a 400 kV transmission line in the international market. It has also secured orders in the Americas for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles.
These contracts collectively strengthen the company’s T&D portfolio across both domestic and overseas geographies.
Cables and Conductors Segment Gains Momentum
Under its cables and conductors vertical, the company has secured new orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors in India as well as in international markets.The diversified nature of these wins underlines steady demand across infrastructure and utility-linked segments.
Annual Order Intake Crosses ₹21,300 Crore
Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International, stated that the latest wins have significantly strengthened the company’s transmission and distribution order book, particularly due to the substantial composite order secured in India.He added that the new contract has further diversified the customer base within the Indian T&D portfolio. With these additions, the company’s total order intake for the year has reached ₹21,300 crore.

KEC International operates as a global infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction major with business interests across power transmission and distribution, civil construction, transportation, renewable energy, oil and gas pipelines, and cables and conductors.The company maintains a presence in more than 110 countries, spanning EPC execution and the supply of towers and cables.
