
Karur Vysya Bank Expands Presence with 902nd Branch Opening in Thirupuvanam
Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has strengthened its operational presence in Tamil Nadu with the opening of a new branch in Thirupuvanam, Sivaganga district. This latest establishment marks the Bank's 902nd branch nationwide and is noted as the first branch inaugurated during the current financial year.The new branch was inaugurated by Shri M.V. Muthuramalingam, Chairman of Velammal Group of Institutions, and Dr. M. Anbukkarasi, Chief Civil Surgeon (Retd.), ESI Hospital and Correspondent, Thandeeswarar Hospital, School and Diabetic Centre. The ATM facility was inaugurated by Dr. K. Anish Burvin, Assistant Professor and PICME Nodal Officer, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sivagangai Medical College & Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director & CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, Shri Ramesh Babu, highlighted the strategic importance of the location. He stated that the opening of the Thirupuvanam branch is a significant step toward bringing modern banking services and economic opportunities closer to the people of Sivaganga district.
Shri Babu emphasized that KVB is committed to supporting the local community, entrepreneurs, and traders through tailored solutions, including working capital, trade finance, and digital payment tools.
