Jupiter Wagons Limited Appoints Two New Independent Directors and Shifts Corporate Office in Kolkata​

Jupiter Wagons Limited announced key outcomes from its Board of Directors meeting held on July 9, 2026, confirming the appointment of two senior business leaders as Additional Non-Executive Independent Directors. The company also confirmed a change in its corporate office address, effective mid-July 2026.

The Board Meeting approved the appointments and ratified the shift of the corporate office, details of which were made available to stakeholders.

Appointments of New Independent Directors​

Ms. Ranjini Roy and Ms. Siddhi Singhania (nee Dhandharia) have been appointed as Additional Directors in the category of Non-Executive Independent Directors of Jupiter Wagons Limited. Both appointments are effective from July 9, 2026, for a term of five consecutive years, subject to shareholder approval.

Ms. Ranjini Roy brings over 25 years of experience and holds an M.Sc. and MBA degree from Presidency College, Kolkata, and IMI, New Delhi. She is a senior business leader with extensive experience across the Aditya Birla Group, TCG, and Avalon Consulting Group. Her expertise spans strategy, growth planning, corporate transformation, and financial excellence in diverse sectors including FMCG, Metals, BFSI, Retail, and Automotive.

Ms. Siddhi Singhania (nee Dhandharia) is an Associate Member of ICSI and a practicing Company Secretary. She has significant experience serving as an advisor and consultant to both listed and unlisted companies. Ms. Singhania's professional background includes deep expertise in corporate governance, due diligence, regulatory matters, IPO advisory services, and NCLT matters.

Both appointed directors were confirmed as unrelated to any existing members of the Board and are not debarred from holding the office of director pursuant to any regulatory order.

Corporate Office Relocation​

The company has also approved the shifting of its corporate office address in Kolkata. The company’s current address, 4/2, Middleton Street, Kolkata-700071 (W.B.), will be replaced by a new location effective July 16, 2026.

The new corporate address is located at 16, Taratalla Road, Alipore, Kolkata-700088 (W.B.).
