Jet Freight Logistics Approves Re-appointment of Key Leadership for Three-Year Term​

Jet Freight Logistics Ltd. held its Board of Directors meeting on Monday, April 27, 2026, approving the re-appointment of two senior leaders, Mr. Richard Francis Theknath and Mr. Dax Francis Theknath, to key roles within the company.

The Board's decisions regarding the re-appointments and the preparation of the notice for a Postal Ballot were approved during the meeting. Both appointments are effective from June 20, 2026, to June 19, 2029, with both individuals being liable to retire by rotation. The appointment details are subject to the approval of the company's shareholders via a Postal Ballot.

Richard Francis Theknath Re-appointed as Managing Director and Chairman​

The Board approved the re-appointment of Mr. Richard Francis Theknath as the Managing Director and Chairman of Jet Freight Logistics Limited for a period of three years.

Mr. Richard Francis Theknath is reported to be not disqualified from the role and has given his consent to continue serving.

He brings over 30 years of experience to the company in the logistics and supply chain industry. He has played a significant role in transforming the organization by fostering a competitive and performance-driven culture. His leadership has been instrumental in the company's sustained growth, leading to numerous recognitions, including being ranked the No. 1 agent for 10 consecutive years by leading airlines such as Air India, Cathay Pacific, Saudia, Gulf Air, and Emirates.

Mr. Theknath holds a Family Managed Business Administration (FMBA) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and an Executive MBA from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis. He is the son of Mrs. Agnes Francis Theknath and the brother of Mr. Dax Francis Theknath.

Dax Francis Theknath Re-appointed as Whole-time Director​

The Board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Dax Francis Theknath as the Whole-time Director of the Company for a term of three years.

Mr. Dax Francis Theknath is also noted as not disqualified from the role and has consented to serve.

Mr. Theknath is a dynamic professional with over 20 years of experience across freight forwarding, logistics, customs clearing, and operations management. He has built a reputation for strategic thinking and operational excellence, with strong expertise in sales strategy and business development. He is deeply involved in driving business expansion, new vertical development, and organizational growth. Furthermore, he holds a Commercial Pilot License issued by the United States Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration.

He is the son of Mrs. Agnes Francis Theknath and the brother of Mr. Richard Francis Theknath.
