Kanpur: Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL), publishers of 'Dainik Jagran,' has released its Unaudited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The results indicate specific performance trends across various business segments.

Financial Highlights

In terms of the standalone segment for Q1FY27, Operating Revenues stood at Rs 442.27 crores, marking an increase of 11.1% from Rs 398.13 crores in the prior year's quarter. Advertisement Revenues reached Rs 289.23 crores, which is up by 14.5% compared to Rs 252.64 crores. Circulation Revenues remained stable at Rs 82.42 crores, while Other Operating Revenues climbed by 11.8% to Rs 70.62 crores from Rs 63.19 crores in Q1FY26. Digital Revenue registered a growth of 32.6%, reaching Rs 23.38 crores from Rs 17.64 crores.

Standalone Operating Profit was reported at Rs 61.52 crores, compared to Rs 64.70 crores previously. PBT stood at Rs 70.16 crores against Rs 94.73 crores in Q1FY26, with PAT at Rs 53.50 crores from Rs 71.35 crores. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter was Rs 2.46, down from Rs 3.28.

Consolidated Business Performance

On a consolidated basis, Operating Revenues reached Rs 499.35 crores, up by 8.5% from Rs 460.05 crores in Q1FY26. Advertisement Revenues were reported at Rs 299.25 crores, reflecting a 14% increase from Rs 262.52 crores.

The consolidated results show that Operating Profit was Rs 70.03 crores, which is up by 9.8% from Rs 63.79 crores in the previous quarter. PBT stood at Rs 81.02 crores against Rs 90.37 crores for Q1FY26, while PAT was Rs 61.23 crores compared to Rs 66.76 crores. Non-annualized EPS was reported at Rs 2.70, down from Rs 3.09.
