ITI Limited Initiates Tender for Solar Module Manufacturing Line

ITI Limited, a Government of India undertaking, has confirmed it is moving forward with plans to establish a solar module manufacturing line at its Naini Unit in Prayagraj. The company responded to a query from the BSE regarding a news report published on www.solarquarter.com.

According to the clarification, ITI Limited is currently in the tendering and proposal stage for a project that could establish a manufacturing line with a capacity of 100 MW, 250 MW, or 500 MW. A previous attempt to initiate a similar tender in March 2025 was unsuccessful due to high bid rates.

ITI Limited stated that the initiative is currently in the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage and does not warrant disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The company confirmed that there are no pending matters or events that would impact the price or volume behavior of its scrip.

The company emphasized that the initiative’s public tendering process has no material impact on ITI Limited.
