ITC Limited Increases Stake in Mother Sparsh Following Acquisition of Second Tranche Shares​

ITC Limited has acquired a second tranche of shares in Mother Sparsh Baby Care Private Limited, bolstering its stake in the personal care sector. The company completed the purchase of 1,681 Equity Shares of ₹ 10/- each through a secondary purchase on May 19, 2026.

The acquisition increases ITC Limited's cumulative shareholding in Mother Sparsh. Following the transaction, ITC's stake now stands at 49.32% of the company’s share capital on a fully diluted basis.

ITC Limited stated that the acquisition is consistent with the company's strategy to build a future ready suite of products that meet evolving consumer needs. The shares were acquired via cash consideration, bringing the total cost of acquisition to approximately ₹ 30 crores.
