IRB Infrastructure Reports Strong Q1FY27 Results, Announces Interim Dividend Amidst 51% Net Profit Growth​

IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited announced robust financial results for the first quarter of FY27, reporting a significant increase in net profit compared to the corresponding period of FY26. The company also declared an interim dividend for its shareholders.

The Group reported that its Net Profit reached Rs. 306 Crores, up from Rs. 202 Crores in Q1FY26, reflecting a year-on-year rise of 51%. Total Income for the quarter stood at Rs. 2,173 Crores, which saw minimal change compared to Q1FY26 results of Rs. 2,165 Crores. Toll Revenue increased by 14%, reaching Rs. 733 Crores against Rs. 646 Crores in Q1FY26.

The Board of Directors of the Company approved the declaration of an Interim Dividend amounting to Rs. 60 Crores per equity share, following the review and approval of the consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Operational Milestones and Asset Monetization​

IRB Infrastructure Developers noted several key operational milestones during the reporting period. The company commissioned Ganga Expressway (Meerut to Budaun Group 1 BOT) and commenced tolling operations on this project. Furthermore, it started toll collection on TOT18 (Chandikhole Bhadrak NH-16) beginning April 1, 2026.

In terms of strategic asset monetization, the company's Private InvIT Joint Venture, IRB Infrastructure Trust, offered two highway BOT assets, valued at Rs. 4,605 Crores, to IRB InvIT Fund, a Public InvIT sponsored by the Group.

Management Outlook and Strategy​

Commenting on the results, Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman & Managing Director of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, stated that the company is successfully navigating current global economic challenges, supported by the strength of its Rs. 94,000 Crores asset portfolio. He emphasized the growth in toll revenue and the effectiveness of the B.E.S.T strategy.

Mr. Mhaiskar also stated that the future holds significant promise due to India's growing economy and the government's continued focus on public-private partnership. Building upon its established asset base and pursuing upcoming market opportunities, IRB is confidently moving towards a goal of achieving a Rs. 1,40,000 crore asset base by 2030, which is intended to drive accelerated and long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

The Group currently operates an integrated infrastructure assets platform in the roads and highways sector, holding a portfolio of 28 revenue generating highway assets across 13 Indian states, aggregating approximately Rs.940 billion.
