Mumbai: IRB Group, India’s leading infrastructure assets platform in roads and highways, reported a robust performance with an approximate 28% year-on-year (YoY) increase in toll revenue for June 2026. This growth reflects the resilience and strength of its business model, driven by consistent traffic expansion and strategic asset management across its portfolio.

The Group's operations include IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, along with two sponsored Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs): IRB Infrastructure Trust and IRB InvIT Fund.

Toll Revenue Performance Highlights​

For the month ending June 2026, the total gross toll collection stood at Rs. 8,078 million (as per project-wise data), marking a significant rise compared to the figure of 6,308 million in June 2025. The press release also quantified the revenue in Crores for that period, showing Toll Revenue at 808 Crores Rs. for June 2026 against 631 Crores Rs. in June 2025.

Operational Scope and Future Plans​

IRB Group is noted as a major player in India's roads and highways sector, operating approximately 28 revenue-generating highway assets across 13 Indian states. With an estimated 1.5 million vehicle crossings daily, the Group accounts for nearly one tenth of India’s total toll revenue.

The management highlighted that this record-breaking performance is a result of consistent traffic growth and tariff revisions. The Group's strategy involves disciplined capital allocation and value-accretive investments.

Looking ahead, the Group plans to expand its asset base to approximately Rs. 1,400 billion by FY2029 through an asset churn strategy that reinvests proceeds into new opportunities.

The portfolio also benefits from a strong visibility of long-term cash flows, given that the residual concession life of these assets is approximately 21 years.

Corporate Entities Overview​

IRB Infrastructure Trust (Private InvIT): This trust manages 14 highway assets totaling 10,674 Lane Kms and holds an Enterprise Value of approximately Rs. 66,000 Crores across states including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. The weighted average life of these assets is over 20 years.

IRB InvIT Fund (Public InvIT): This fund operates and manages 10 highway assets, covering both BOT and HAM projects, totaling 4,445 Lane Kms. The Enterprise Value for this portfolio stands at approximately Rs. 17,600 Crores, concentrated in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The weighted average life of these assets is over 18 years.

IRB Stock Price Movement​

Today, shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited shed value, slipping 2.25% to close at ₹19.97. The stock saw significant trading activity today, with over 10.33 million shares changing hands during the session.
