An attack at Iraq's Basra port in the Persian Gulf has left at least one person dead and forced authorities to suspend operations at all of the country’s oil terminals, officials confirmed on Thursday.Farhan al-Fartousi, Director General of the General Company for Ports of Iraq, said the incident targeted a vessel located in a ship-to-ship transfer zone at the port.
The statement was released through the state-run Iraqi News Agency.
