Indoco Remedies Limited has confirmed the completion of the business transfer of its Ophthalmic Division. The transfer to Sunways (India) Private Limited was finalized on May 18, 2026.The transaction pertains to the sale and transfer of the Company's ophthalmic business, covering the territories of India, Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Mauritania, Senegal, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
The transfer was executed in line with the previously approved Agreement to Transfer Business (ATB). The sale was conducted on a slump sale basis, and the business is being transferred as a going concern.
Indoco Remedies Limited has reported that, with all conditions precedent fulfilled, the transfer of the Ophthalmic Division to Sunways (India) Private Limited was successfully completed on the specified date.
