External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar engaged in high-level diplomatic talks, first with Kuwait, focusing on the evolving regional situation. On Monday, April 13, EAM Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.The primary agenda of the discussion centered on the prevailing situation in West Asia and ensuring the well-being of the Indian diaspora. During this meeting, he conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed deep gratitude.
EAM Jaishankar specifically acknowledged the efforts undertaken to ensure the well-being of the Indian community within the UAE, especially given the West Asia conflict. Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, was also present for the high-level interaction.
