Three consecutive flight tests were conducted on June 10 and 11, 2026, focusing on sophisticated missile defense capabilities. DRDO successfully demonstrated a system capable of intercepting long range ballistic missiles. The testing confirms the effectiveness of the indigenous systems against emerging missile threats.

Maiden Flight Test Marks Milestone in Anti-Ship Warfare​

The Defence Research and Development Organisation also conducted the maiden flight test for the Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Medium Range (NASM-MR).
