Hubtown Limited released its standalone and consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, on May 14, 2026. Both reports carried a qualified audit opinion based on the treatment of interest expenses on inter-corporate deposits.

The audit reports noted that the company had not provided for interest expense amounting to Rs. 1,751.85 lakhs on certain inter-corporate deposits. Consequently, the finance cost for the year ended March 31, 2026, was understated by Rs. 1,751.85 lakhs, leading to a consequential increase in profit for the year. For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, the finance cost was understated by Rs. 431.96 lakhs.

The basis of the qualification noted that one inter-corporate deposit, which had not been provided for interest until the previous quarter and amounted to Rs. 4375.39 lakhs, was fully repaid in the current quarter, and thus removed from the calculation.

Consolidated Financial Highlights​

The consolidated financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026, showed total income of Rs. 83,291 lakhs and a total expenditure of Rs. 64,456 lakhs. The Net Profit/(Loss) for the Group was reported at Rs. 14,600 lakhs, resulting in an Earnings per Share of 9.37.

The total assets stood at Rs. 6,30,243 lakhs, backed by total liabilities of Rs. 3,63,770 lakhs, resulting in a Net Worth of Rs. 2,64,721 lakhs.

For the standalone results, Hubtown Limited reported Total Income of Rs. 51,017 lakhs for the year ended March 31, 2026. Total assets were recorded at Rs. 401,474 lakhs, with total liabilities of Rs. 1,16,132 lakhs. The standalone Net Profit/(Loss) stood at 10,922 lakhs.

Operational and Business Updates​

Hubtown Limited noted several significant operational and corporate developments during the period:

• Equity Allotment: The company allotted 62,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 210/per share to persons belonging to the Promoter group upon conversion of an equal number of share warrants.
• Subsidiaries: The company increased its stake in several entities, making them subsidiaries effective from February 3, 2026. These included Hubtown Bus Terminal (Ahmedabad) Private Limited, Hubtown Bus Terminal (Vadodara) Private Limited, Hubtown Bus Terminal (Mehsana) Private Limited, and Hubtown Bus Terminal (Adajan) Private Limited.
• New Subsidiaries: The company also incorporated two new wholly owned subsidiaries: Hubtowncentral Private Limited on March 29, 2026, and 25 Chalets Private Limited on March 30, 2026, intended for undertaking new real estate projects.

The auditor's report emphasized technical matters regarding the recognition of expenses for ongoing projects and the realizable value of inventories at various stages of development. The management also provided details regarding corporate guarantees issued, aggregating Rs. 81,240 lakhs, which the management stated are not expected to result in any financial liability to the company.
