Hindalco Industries Ltd announced its Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, showing robust performance across both consolidated and standalone segments. The company’s results reflect operational strength and strategic financial activities within its international subsidiaries.

The Consolidated Unaudited Financial Results showed a total income of 85,882 Crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. Revenue from operations stood at 84,825 Crore, with total expenses recorded at 74,196 Crore. The company reported a Profit before tax of 9,393 Crore, resulting in a profit attributable to owners of the Company of 7,013 Crore for the period. Total comprehensive income for the quarter reached 15,513 Crore. Basic earnings per share (EPS) stood at 31.58.

In terms of segment performance, revenue from operations stood at 84,825 Crore, which was generated across Novelis (54,763 Crore), Aluminium upstream (13,403 Crore), and Copper (17,232 Crore). Total segment results for the quarter amounted to 13,480 Crore.

The Standalone Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, showed a total income of 30,860 Crore, with revenue from operations at 30,515 Crore. The company reported a profit for the period at 4,784 Crore and Basic EPS of 21.54.

Operational Updates and Financial Developments​

In terms of operational matters, the results noted costs associated with a fire incident at Novelis' plant in Oswego, New York. These costs amounted to approximately 2,299 Crore (US$ 244 million) and were recorded as exceptional expenses during the quarter ended June 30, 2026, net of insurance proceeds. Additionally, business interruption recoveries related to the Oswego fire totaling approximately 447 Crore (US$ 47 million) were recorded under Other Income for the current quarter.

On the financing front, Novelis successfully amended its ABL Revolver facility on June 16, 2026, increasing the maximum revolving amount by US $500 million to an aggregate total of US $3.0 billion. This debt modification resulted in US $8 million of financing fees, which will be amortized over the remaining term of the loan. Furthermore, during the quarter ending June 30, 2026, Novelis entered into an uncommitted revolving facility agreement with MUFG Bank Ltd., GIFT Branch, for loans and advances up to US $500 million. Later, on July 23, 2026, Novelis secured a term loan facility aggregating US$ 500 million from MUFG, DBS, Credit Agricole, and BNP Paribas.

The company also reported that the Special Court discharged the Company and all other accused from proceedings in a matter related to coal misuse, an investigation initiated by the CBI. The court delivered its order and judgment on May 30, 2026.
