Hexaware Appoints Srinivasan Panchapakesan as Chief Platform Officer to Drive AI-Native Services

Hexaware Technologies, a global provider of IT solutions and services, has appointed Srinivasan Panchapakesan as President and Chief Platform Officer. This newly created role is effective immediately and central to Hexaware's platform-led strategy as the company focuses on guiding enterprises through the AI era.

Srinivasan will be responsible for leading the development, integration, and scaling of Hexaware's comprehensive platform portfolio. His mandate includes overseeing the roadmap, governance, and enterprise scale adoption of these unified platforms.

The technology offering is being consolidated under a single shared foundation of AI-native services, intended to serve as one route to modernization rather than functioning as separate products or silos. This consolidation ensures that all clients receive auditable, agentic AI they can trust in production environments.

Hexaware’s key platform offerings include:
  • Amaze® for cloud modernization
  • RapidX® for AI-accelerated software engineering
  • Tensai® for agentic IT operations
  • Agentverse™ for enterprise AI agents

Srinivasan's leadership will drive these interconnected platforms—which run on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud alongside hyperscaler services—to operate as a connected system.

Leadership Profile and Strategic Focus

Srinivasan brings over 35 years of industry experience, including more than 27 years at Hexaware in platform engineering and complex program execution. His prior role included Senior Corporate Vice President and Global Delivery Head for Digital and Software. He is one of the principal architects behind Amaze® and RapidX®, having led some of the company's most intricate engagements across sectors such as banking, insurance, life sciences, and manufacturing.

Srinivasan also holds over 200 certifications and has published thought leadership on platform strategy and AI-native delivery.

R. Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director at Hexaware, stated that the role is a reflection of priority regarding platforms. He added that Srinivasan possesses both the technical depth and client understanding necessary to lead this charge.

Commenting on the current market need, Srinivasan Panchapakesan said, "Every enterprise is asking the same question right now. How do we move from AI pilots to AI that is grounded in our own code, our own data, and our own decisions? Bringing these platforms onto one foundation closes that gap for us and for our clients."

The new charter is designed to eliminate friction and close the gap between where enterprises currently are and where they aim to be in their digital modernization journey.
