Hero MotoCorp, the world's leading manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a strong continuation of its growth trajectory in July 2026. The company recorded total dispatches of 533,416 units, marking robust 19% year-on-year growth compared to 449,755 units dispatched during the same period in the previous year.

The Company's domestic Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) business maintained a strong retail momentum, registering dispatches of 478,689 units in July 2026. This figure is compared to 401,171 units from the preceding year and reflects approximately 19% year-on-year growth.

This sustained domestic performance was attributed to strong retail traction across key segments. Both the Splendor and new Passion continued to perform well in the market. The Glamour X and the upgraded Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 also delivered robust results. In the scooter category, the Destini and Xoom series led the charge. Complementing operational highlights, Hero MotoCorp launched a new marketing initiative for the Hero Destini, titled "Hero Ka Scooter, Scooter Ka Hero," which centers on imaginative storytelling to position the vehicle as a trusted family partner.

Global Expansion and EV Segment Growth​

The Company's global operations unit recorded 32,013 dispatches during July 2026, driven by aggressive international expansion efforts. The company officially strengthened its international presence by entering Ecuador and Germany. The entry into Germany signifies the 53rd global market for Hero MotoCorp, reinforcing its commitment to deliver sustainable mobility solutions in international markets.

Vida, Hero MotoCorp's Emerging Mobility unit, sustained strong retail momentum with dispatching 22,714 units in July 2026. In a significant step forward for electric mobility, Vida achieved its first global debut in Nepal. Furthermore, VIDA unveiled its refreshed brand identity, VOOM, and introduced a new high-capacity 4.4 kWh variant to enhance range and performance.

Operational Commitment and Future Scaling​

In a strategic move aimed at strengthening its operational foundation and supply chain network, Hero MotoCorp laid the foundation stone for its second state-of-the-art Global Parts Center (GPC) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. This new facility is designated as a crucial hub for both domestic and export spare parts logistics.

This infrastructure expansion complements ongoing investments in Ather Energy and other EV ecosystems. The initiative also includes scaling up the annual production capacity at the existing Tirupati plant, where 100% of Hero MotoCorp's EV portfolio is engineered and built. This move underscores the company's long-term commitment to sustainable mobility.
