
HCL and EIL Formalize Partnership with Memorandum of Agreement
Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) and Engineers India Limited (EIL) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), strengthening their existing partnership. The agreement was formalized on June 22, 2026.The MoA outlines the engagement of EIL to support HCL’s expansive operations. These operations span the entire mineral value chain, from initial mineral exploration and end-toend mining processes through smelting, refining, and downstream extraction.
Under the agreement, EIL will provide specialized consultancy services, engineering, project management, safety and integrity studies, sustainability expertise, and advanced technical solutions to HCL. The focus areas for this partnership include copper, critical minerals, and rare earth elements.
The MoA was signed at EIL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi. The signing ceremony included the Chairman and Managing Director of HCL, Shri Sanjiv Kumar Singh, along with senior management officials from both organizations.
