Gujarat Kidney And Super Speciality Limited to Deploy 100 AI-Powered Haemodialysis Machines Across Network
Gujarat Kidney And Super Speciality Limited (GKSL) has announced a major scale-up of its renal care services through the procurement of 100 units of AI-enabled Haemodialysis machines. The company plans to integrate these advanced machines into its network to substantially improve access to high-quality, technology-enabled patient care across Gujarat. The expansion strategy begins with a phase-1 deployment at the Gujarat Multi Specialty Hospital in Godhra. Eight AI-based haemodialysis machines are slated to be installed and commissioned at the Godhra facility within the next 10 days, following the successful completion of all required technical inspections.
Advancing Renal Care with AI Technology
The integration of AI-based machines represents a significant technological upgrade compared to conventional dialysis equipment. These advanced units continuously analyze intra-session data, monitoring key clinical parameters such as fluid balance, blood pressure trends, and ultrafiltration response. The key benefits provided by AI-enabled haemodialysis machines include:
- Real-time decision support for nephrologists and dialysis technicians throughout each session.
- Early detection of intradialytic complications, such as hypotension and cramping.
- The ability to adapt personalized treatment parameters based on each patient's specific clinical profile.
- Improved consistency, audit-readiness, and traceability for every dialysis session.
Network-Wide Rollout Plan
The initial deployment at the Godhra facility is intended to boost the session capacity, allowing GKSL to serve a wider patient base in Godhra and adjoining districts, thereby reducing the need for patients to travel to larger tertiary centers.Following the initial phase, the remaining units procured as part of the 100-unit order will be progressively deployed across GKSL's network of dialysis centers. This network-wide rollout is being managed in a phased manner, aligning with site readiness and overall clinical demand.
The company stated that this expansion aligns with its strategic objective of strengthening technology-enabled patient care and scaling up dialysis capacity throughout its healthcare facilities in Gujarat.
