
Government Entity to Sell Up to 5.8 Crore Shares of Hindustan Copper Limited in Offer for Sale
The President of India, acting through the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has proposed an Offer for Sale (OFS) of equity shares of Hindustan Copper Limited. The entity decided to exercise the Oversubscription Option, resulting in a maximum offer size of 5,80,21,442 equity shares, representing 6.00% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the Company.The Offer for Sale is being conducted through the stock exchange mechanism. The initial proposal included a Base Offer Size of up to 2,90,10,721 equity shares, which represents 3.00% of the total paid-up equity share capital. The proposed Oversubscription Option, also set at 2,90,10,721 equity shares, was subsequently exercised.
If the Oversubscription Option is exercised, the total Offer Shares will amount to 5,80,21,442 equity shares.
A portion of the Offer is dedicated to retail investors. Of the total Offer Shares, 58,02,146 shares, which is 10% of the Offer, will be available for the Retail Category on T+1 day, which is August 26, 2026, subject to the receipt of valid bids.
In addition to the main offer, a dedicated Employee Offer is scheduled. The Employee Offer will provide 25,000 equity shares of the Company to eligible employees through the stock exchange mechanism.
