Gopal Snacks Limited reported strong financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, achieving a record quarterly revenue of Rs 422.3 Crores. The performance highlights significant growth across various product lines as well as strategic operational milestones, including the commencement of operations at its new Rajkot manufacturing facility.

The company reported robust year-on-year (YoY) sales growth of 31.1% for Q1 FY27. Furthermore, Profit Before Tax (PBT), excluding exceptional items, grew by 3.5 times, reaching Rs 18.6 Crores. EBITDA stood at Rs 31.5 Crores, translating to an EBITDA margin of 7.4%.

Key Operational and Segment Highlights​

Operational strength was driven by high consumer demand across key categories. The Gathiya segment recorded a YoY growth of 28.9%, while the Wafers segment saw a surge of 36.0%. Pellets & Extruded Snacks also expanded, recording 27.5% YoY growth, and Namkeen demonstrated continued demand with 22.7% YoY growth.

The company has successfully commissioned its Rajkot manufacturing facility, which has an installed capacity of 1,05,233 MTPA. This represents a strategic move to consolidate production from the Gondal facility to Rajkot, aiming to improve operational efficiency by reducing power and fuel, transportation, and operating costs.

Distribution network expansion remains a key focus. As of June 26, Gopal Snacks had an active network of 1,007 distributors across Core, Focus, and New Markets, supported by 135 micro-distributors under the SSD model.

Management Commentary​

Mr. Bipinbhai Hadvani, Chairman and MD, commented that Q1 FY2027 marked a significant milestone for Gopal Snacks, attributing the strong gross margin of 26.9% to disciplined cost management despite market challenges.

He noted that operational performance was encouraging, driven by segment growth across Gathiya (28.9%), Wafers (36.0%), and Pellets & Extruded Snacks (27.5%). He emphasized the successful recommencement of operations at the Rajkot Main manufacturing facility following a fire incident in December 2024.

Mr. Hadvani added that focused efforts on distribution expansion and brand-building initiatives were critical to strengthening market penetration, enabling deeper reach across core and focus markets. The company remains committed to expanding its manufacturing network and enhancing brand visibility while capitalizing on opportunities within the packaged snacks market.
