Goodricke Group Terminates Proposed Sale of Barnesbeg Tea Estate
Goodricke Group Ltd. announced the cancellation of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the proposed sale of Barnesbeg Tea Estate. The MoU was initially executed with Mr. Akshay Shankar Das on February 20, 2026, contingent upon the completion of due diligence by March 31, 2026.The parties were unable to reach an agreement on certain matters during the due diligence process, leading to the mutual termination of the MoU. Consequently, a definitive agreement will not be executed, and the transaction will not proceed.
According to Goodricke Group, the cancellation of the MoU will not have a material financial impact on the company. Goodricke Group Ltd. is a Camellia Plc. U.K. group company.
