Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) has re-engaged Shri Pankaj Kanaiyalal Purohit as an Executive Director on a fixed term contractual basis. The re-engagement follows the previous retirement of Mr. Purohit from his role at the company, with effect from May 31, 2026.

Shri Purohit was appointed back to the management position effective June 12, 2026. This engagement is initially set for a period of six months and may be extended by a further six months, subject to the approval of the Managing Director.

Shri Pankaj Kanaiyalal Purohit brings over 36 years of comprehensive experience in operations, process management, and service functions to the company. He is a Chemical Engineer by training from Dharamsinh Desai University, Nadiad.

During his extensive time with GNFC, Mr. Purohit held key positions across various operational aspects including the Nitrophosphate Project, BSD, TDI-II Process at Dahej, Steam & Power Generation, and Urea plants. His previous role involved overall Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of the TDI-II Dahej site and associated service functions.
