The ongoing vertical integration journey at GHCL Textiles is also showing marked results, with its contribution to revenue rising from 9% in Q1 FY26 to 16% in Q1 FY27, which highlights the effectiveness of the value-addition strategy. Key operational updates include significant growth in fabric sales volumes and steady progress in commissioning knitting machines for planned capacity expansion.

GHCL Textiles continues to reinforce its sustainability agenda while enhancing cost competitiveness. The company currently benefits from a green energy capacity of 65 MW, which meets approximately 70% of its total energy requirements. Furthermore, an additional 11 MW is under development, aiming to reduce energy costs and strengthen the company's ESG performance.
