New Delhi, Aug 5, 2026: GE Vernova T&D India Limited (NSE:GVT&D) announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, which ended on June 30, 2026. The company reported significant improvements in revenue and profitability across Q1, although order bookings saw a contraction compared to the previous year.

The performance metrics show substantial growth in top-line figures while managing internal costs. Revenue for the quarter reached INR 18.4 billion, marking a 38% increase year over year (YoY) from INR 13.3 billion in the corresponding quarter of June 2025.

Profitability indicators also showed improvement. EBITDA stood at INR 4.6 billion, representing a 19% YoY rise and translating to 25.1%. Profit After Tax was recorded at INR 3.6 billion, which is up 25% YoY compared to INR 2.9 billion in the Quarter Ended June 2025. However, order bookings decreased by 30% YoY, standing at INR 11.4 billion against INR 16.2 billion recorded in the previous quarter.

Major Business Wins and Project Commissions​

The company secured several strategic orders during the quarter, covering various international and domestic markets. These key acquisitions include: securing multiple orders for supplying CTs and CVTs from GE Grid Renewable LLC destined for North America; an order for a 400 kV GIS from GE Grid Solutions, S.A., designated for Spain; and an order for a 150 MVA 245 kV transformer from a leading semiconductor player.

Furthermore, the company secured multiple orders for the supply of Grid Automation packages from state utilities, EPCs, and data centers. International projects included an order for a 400 kV GIS from GE Grid Solutions, Middle East, intended for Morocco, alongside multiple orders for 765kV/400kV AIS equipment from various EPC players. The company also secured multiple export orders of AIS/GIS equipment destined for North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Operational Highlights​

GE Vernova T&D India successfully commissioned several major projects during Q1 FY 2026-27. These include commissioning 400 kV bays for Adani KPS-3 and RTM package at Khavda in Gujarat. The company also completed the commissioning of 400 kV and 220 kV GIS bays with power transformers for NEA Khimti Site in Nepal. Other successful commissions noted were a 765 MVA unit for UPRVUNL at Ghatampur, commissioning 765 kV and 400 kV Shunt Reactors for multiple locations of PGCIL and Resonia, and completing GIS bays for Renew Power and DVC at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station in Jharkhand.
