Fractal Analytics Receives Draft Assessment Order with Proposed Adjustments of INR 156.56 Crore​

Fractal Analytics Limited announced today, March 26, 2026, that it received a Draft Assessment Order from the Income Tax Department of India for the Assessment Year 2023-24. The Draft Order, received on March 24, 2026, proposes total additions of INR 156.56 crore stemming from transfer pricing and corporate tax adjustments.

The Draft Order, issued under section 144C(1) of the Income Tax Act of 1961, is applicable to the financial year 2022-23. Currently, no tax demand is payable as this is a Draft Order, and any demand will be determined after the receipt of the final assessment order.

The company will file its objections before the Dispute Resolution Panel. The Draft Order also indicates that penalty proceedings under section 270A of the IT Act will be initiated separately for under-reporting of income.
