
Fortis Healthcare Partners with Dion Group to Establish 300-Bed Multi-Specialty Hospital in Odisha
Fortis Healthcare has entered the Odisha market by signing an Operations and Management (O&M) agreement with the Dion Group for a large-scale greenfield multi-specialty hospital. The facility, which will be developed at Dion Riverside Township in Trishulia, Cuttack, is planned to be a major tertiary care destination for Odisha and neighboring areas.The collaboration involves Fortis managing and operating the 300-bed hospital. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the region and improve access to advanced medical care.
Dion Group, an established real estate and infrastructure development conglomerate headquartered in Bhubaneswar, is expanding its presence into the hospitality and healthcare sector. The project is situated in the rapidly developing Cuttack-Bhubaneswar corridor and is designed to offer comprehensive tertiary and quaternary care services. These services will be supported by advanced diagnostics, critical care infrastructure, and specialized clinical programs.
The venture represents Fortis Healthcare's first significant operational presence in Odisha. It aligns with the company's broader strategy to expand access to quality healthcare across India through both brownfield expansion and inorganic growth initiatives, including operating and management agreements.
