The event is set to showcase exceptional timepieces and represents a major milestone for the country's growing luxury watch industry.

The GPHG awards are globally recognized as the "Oscars of Watchmaking." This exhibition features finalist watches from the year's competition, which spans across 15 distinct categories. These pieces represent the pinnacle of innovation, design, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence in contemporary horology.

Bringing this high-profile event to India underscores the significance of the nation and its expanding community of collectors on the global horological stage. The Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) was established in 2001 by the GPHG Foundation in Geneva. It is dedicated to celebrating excellence in contemporary watchmaking, with the awards being judged by an international jury composed of experts, industry leaders, collectors, and journalists. The travelling GPHG Exhibition displays finalist timepieces selected from over 1000 nominated entries annually.
