Ola Electric Launches #EndICEAge Campaign to Accelerate Shift from Petrol Two Wheelers

New Delhi, March 14: Ola Electric has launched #EndICEAge, a nationwide campaign aimed at accelerating India’s transition from petrol powered two wheelers to electric mobility. The initiative focuses on highlighting the rising cost and inconvenience of petrol dependency while encouraging riders to adopt electric vehicles.

The company said the campaign seeks to turn growing concerns around petrol prices and frequent fuel refills into a catalyst for change by motivating consumers across the country to move toward electric mobility.

Limited Period Benefits for New Buyers

As part of the campaign, Ola Electric is offering limited period benefits worth more than ₹20,000 for customers purchasing a new Ola S1 scooter or Roadster motorcycle.

The offer will remain available for three days until March 16, 2026.

The benefits include a ₹10,000 cash discount along with an extended eight year battery warranty, valued at up to ₹15,000. According to the company, the combination of upfront savings and long term warranty coverage is intended to make the shift to electric vehicles more attractive for buyers.

Social Initiative Encourages Riders to Share EV Transition

Alongside the promotional offer, the company has also launched a #EndICEAge social initiative encouraging new customers to share their journey from petrol powered vehicles to electric mobility.

Customers purchasing an Ola Electric two wheeler between March 14 and March 16, 2026 can upload their previous month’s petrol bills on social media platforms while tagging the company and using the #EndICEAge hashtag.

Each day, Ola Electric will select three entries, and the company will adjust the amount spent on petrol against the payment made by the customer.

Campaign Highlights Benefits of Electric Mobility

A company spokesperson said the campaign aims to encourage riders to break away from petrol dependency.

“For decades, India has been stuck in the petrol cycle, rising fuel prices, constant visits to petrol pumps, and a mobility system built on outdated technology. With #EndICEAge, we are inviting riders across the country to move to electric,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles provide a cleaner, smarter and more economical commuting option.

“The future of mobility is electric, and #EndICEAge is about accelerating that shift across India,” the spokesperson said.

Champions Edition Models Also Announced

Separately, the company recently introduced the Champions Edition of its flagship 4680 Bharat Cell powered S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) scooter and Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh) motorcycle.

The limited edition models were announced to commemorate India’s third ICC Men’s T20 World Cup victory. These editions will be available at company stores and on the official website from tomorrow until the end of April 2026.
