Emami Ltd. Acquires Significant Stake in Axiom Ayurveda
Kolkata – April 1, 2026 – Emami Limited announced today that it has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire approximately 73.5% of the paid-up capital of Axiom Ayurveda Private Limited (AAPL). This acquisition builds upon Emami’s existing 26.5% stake in the associate company.As part of the initial transaction phase, Emami has acquired 8,430,909 equity shares, representing approximately 36.7% of AAPL. This acquisition finalized on April 1, 2026, making AAPL a subsidiary of Emami Limited. The remaining stake of 8,430,909 equity shares is expected to be acquired by June 2026, in accordance with the terms outlined in the SPA.
