EIE Renewables Acquires Stake in Suyog Urja Limited to Bolster Wind Energy Presence​

EIE Renewables Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited, has initiated the acquisition of Suyog Urja Limited, a move aimed at strengthening the company’s portfolio within the renewable energy sector. The acquisition of Suyog Urja Limited's 100% share capital will be completed in a phased manner, allowing EIE Renewables to secure an initial 51% equity stake immediately. The remaining 49% equity will be acquired over a period of 27 months.

The proposed transaction is expected to enable EIE Renewables Private Limited to significantly enhance and integrate its existing renewable energy assets, specifically by expanding its operational footprint into the wind energy segment. This strategic expansion is set to enhance the overall project capacity of the group, diversify its energy mix, and broaden its geographic reach within the renewable energy sector.

The company has a strong market presence across India and has successfully delivered large-scale wind energy projects, including 104 MW (Tata Power Saurya Limited) and 125 MW & 100 MW (Vibrant Energy) projects, alongside completing land acquisition and approvals for a 50 MW project (Suzlon Energy Limited).

Transaction and Strategic Timeline​

The acquisition involves a cash consideration of approximately ₹ 311,00,00,000/-. The indicative timeline for the completion of the full acquisition is set on or before July 31, 2028.

EIE Renewables Private Limited has become the Subsidiary and Step Down Subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited effective April 28, 2026.

The transaction structure confirms that the acquisition represents a strategic move for the group. Additionally, the erstwhile Promoter, Mr. Chetraj Narbahadur Khadka, will continue to be associated with the company for a minimum period of three years, ensuring transitional leadership and strategic oversight to support the sustained growth and development of the renewable energy operations.

EIEL Stock Price Movement​

Today, Enviro Infra Engineers Limited shares edged higher, closing at ₹216.78 after rallying 3.57% for the day. The stock recorded significant activity, trading on a volume of 3.70 million shares as it settled above its previous close of ₹209.46.
