Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) has marked a significant milestone by posting its highest ever Annual Turnover of Rs 1214.09 Crore during the Financial Year 2025-26. This achievement represents the best performance recorded in the company's five-decade journey.

Under the consortium of four major ports, including Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, Paradip Port Authority, and Deendayal Port Authority, DCIL reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 4.75 Crore for FY 2025-26. The company also recorded an Operational Profit (EBITA) of Rs 253.46 Crore for the same financial year.

The company’s stellar performance highlights its operational efficiency and adaptability, particularly while navigating challenging global economic conditions and persistent inflationary pressures triggered by volatile geopolitical developments. DCIL successfully managed rising fuel prices, increased operational costs, and intense pricing pressures throughout the year.

The financial results reflect strong growth in shareholder value. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for FY 2025-26 improved significantly to Rs 5.28, marking a substantial rebound from the negative Rs 12.07 recorded in the previous financial year, 2024-25.

The management noted that the robust performance was driven by the consistent delivery of ongoing dredging projects efficiently and within stipulated timelines across various ports and maritime infrastructure projects.

In a statement on this landmark achievement, Madhaiyan Angamuthu, Chairman of Dredging Corporation of India/Visakhapatnam Port Authority & Mumbai Port Authority, and Capt S Divakar, MD & CEO of DCIL, expressed immense satisfaction with the Company’s turnaround.

Looking ahead, the management reiterated its commitment to sustaining this growth trajectory. DCIL has set an ambitious target of achieving a turnover of Rs 1500 Crore during the Financial Year 2026-27, cementing its position as a leading dredging company.
