Delta Corp Files Supreme Court Petition Against High Court Ruling on Gambling License

Delta Corp Limited has filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India following an adverse ruling by the Bombay High Court concerning the licensing of its Deltin Hotel.

The filing comes after the company had previously informed stakeholders regarding the status of the license required for installing electronic amusement and slot machines at the Deltin Hotel. The matter originated from Writ Petition No. 317 of 2019, which was dismissed by the Bombay High Court via an order dated April 29, 2026.

The dismissal relates to a petition that sought a direction to grant a license under Section 13A of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, specifically for the purpose of installing games of electronic amusement/slot machines at the Deltin Hotel.

Delta Corp Limited filed the Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court of India on July 22, 2026, challenging the aforementioned High Court order.

DELTACORP Stock Price Movement
