Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited announced a change in its senior management structure, noting the resignation of Mr. Romy Sahay and the interim appointment of Mr. Naresh Pinisetti to head the Human Resources function.Mr. Romy Sahay has resigned from his position as President - Human Resources and Senior Management Personnel. His resignation is effective from April 19, 2026, allowing him to pursue opportunities outside the company.
Following Mr. Sahay’s departure, Mr. Naresh Pinisetti, currently serving as President - Corporate Governance, has assumed responsibility for leading and managing the Human Resources department on an interim basis. Mr. Pinisetti took additional charge of this role starting April 20, 2026.
Mr. Naresh Pinisetti brings over 30 years of experience across various facets of Human Resource Development and Industrial Relations. His educational background includes a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources from NIPM, an Executive MBA from Scandinavian International Management Institute (SIMI), and qualifications including a B L from College of Law, Andhra University, and an M.A. in Sociology.
Mr. Pinisetti has an extensive professional history that includes serving as Director and Regional Head of HR for Asia Pacific at Vestas, and also serving as General Manager - HR at the Bayer Group in India. His career includes extensive travel across Europe and the Asia Pacific region, providing exposure to the latest international concepts in People Management. Professionally, he is noted as the immediate past Chairman of the Indian Society for Training & Development, Chennai Chapter, and served as the Regional Vice President for the Southern Region. He is also a certified Coach and a Hogan Graduate.
