D. P. Abhushan Limited, a jewellery company based in Central India, announced the opening of a new showroom in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh on March 30, 2026. The showroom, located in Happy Villa Colony, spans approximately 3,000 sq. ft. and offers a variety of jewellery including gold, silver, diamond-studded pieces, Kun dan varieties, and Polki collections.The expansion is part of D. P. Abhushan Limited's strategy to grow its retail presence in Tier-II cities across India. The company stated that the expansion is part of its regular operational framework and will not have a material impact on its financials for the fiscal year. Shareholder approval for capital expenditure was not required.
According to Santosh Kataria, Managing Director, the Dhar showroom reflects the region's focus on tradition and trust in jewellery. The company’s total retail footprint now includes 12 showrooms.
D. P. Abhushan Limited is navigating current gold price conditions while maintaining focus on long-term value creation and customer trust. The company has a legacy dating back to 1940 under the brand ‘D.P. Jewellers,’ and is currently managed by the fourth generation of the founding family.
