Colgate Total Partners with Mumbai Indians to Launch PLOT Initiative for Peak Dental Health
Mumbai, India, 27 March, 2026 – Colgate Total has partnered with Mumbai Indians as their Dental Performance Partner, integrating oral health into the team's performance framework ahead of the 2026 season.Colgate unveiled a new initiative, PLOT (Performance Linked Oral Test), a comprehensive oral health screening framework designed to proactively assess and maintain peak dental health for players. The program utilizes advanced intraoral scanning technology and WHO-based oral health assessments, led by clinician Dr. Moez Khakiani.
According to Colgate, germs in the mouth can enter the body, causing inflammation that slows down recovery and impacts athletic performance. The partnership supports Colgate Total, which is described as 3X more effective at fighting germ build-up.
