Coal India Limited has successfully commissioned a 100 MW Solar Power Plant in Gujarat, marking a significant step in the company's expansion into renewable energy sources.

The company confirmed that the Solar Power Plant, located at Village: Bhadramali, Ta- Deesa, Dist: Banaskantha, Gujarat, began operations effective March 31, 2026. Coal India Limited subsequently received the commissioning certificate for the facility on May 4, 2026, from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
