Cineline India Limited Opens New Multiplex in Chennai, Expanding to 85 Screens
Cineline India Limited announced the opening of a two-screen multiplex in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, marking the company's entry into the state and a significant expansion of its operations. The new cinema, branded "MovieMax," is located in the Prince Ratnapuri Garden Residency on Walltax Road, Kondithope, and features a seating capacity of 452.The MovieMax multiplex incorporates advanced technology, including 4K laser projection systems, next-generation 3D capabilities, and Dolby sound systems. The design emphasizes a modern aesthetic and comfortable viewing environment, complemented by a unique, pure vegetarian food and beverage offering with a live kitchen concept.
"Our entry into Chennai marks an important step in strengthening our pan-India presence," stated Ashish Kanakia, CEO of Cineline India Limited. “With this launch, we have expanded our portfolio to 85 operational screens across the country.”
The addition of this new multiplex strengthens Cineline India Limited's presence with 85 screens across 22 properties and 16 cities.
