Century Enka Approves Reappointment of Suresh Sodani as Managing Director & CEO for Two Years​

Century Enka Limited has approved the reappointment of Mr. Suresh Sodani as the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a further two-year period. The decision follows the Board of Directors meeting held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and is subject to shareholder approval.

Mr. Sodani will hold the position from April 1, 2027, until March 31, 2029.

The appointment extends his tenure in a leadership role at Century Enka Limited. Mr. Sodani holds extensive experience as both a Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Management Accountant, possessing over three decades of expertise spanning Finance, Accounts, IT, Logistics, Strategic Planning & Policy Formulation, and Corporate Governance.

During his tenure with the company, Mr. Sodani played a significant role in articulating the long-term strategy for the Chlor-Alkali business. His leadership contributions include increasing NTCF capacity, expansion into PTCF, introducing new Value Added Products (VAPs) within NFY, modernizing operations through investment while exiting non-viable products, and spearheading renewable energy and safety initiatives.
