CARE Ratings Limited Announces Joint Venture to Enable Global Capability Centres​

CARE Ratings Limited announced the formation of a joint venture, tentatively named 'Operus Limited,' in collaboration with Vestian Global Work Place Services Private Limited. The Strategy and Investment Committee of CARE Ratings approved the incorporation on March 17, 2026.

The joint venture aims to provide Global Capability Centre (GCC) enablement services, assisting global enterprises in designing, establishing, and operating GCCs in India. Services will include strategy, operating model design, talent acquisition, workspace setup, and regulatory compliance. Operus will offer managed services and scalable business models aligned with clients' long-term objectives.

CARE Ratings Limited will invest approximately Rs. 22.5 crores as initial equity share capital. The company will hold a 50% stake in the venture, with Vestian Global Workplace Services Private Limited holding the remaining 50%. Shares will be issued at a face value of Rs. 10 per share.

The incorporation of Operus is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, and will require a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Securities and Exchange Board of India. As the new entity will be a related party of CARE Ratings Limited, the transaction will be conducted at 'arm's length.'
