Best Agrolife Limited has issued an urgent reminder to all shareholders holding shares in physical form, stressing the necessity of updating Know Your Customer (KYC) details with its Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA), Skyline Financial Services Private Limited. This measure is vital for ensuring the smooth transfer and processing of securities related payments.

The company communicated that holders of physical securities are requested to register their email ID to access online services and should register their nomination in their own interest.

Key Requirements for Physical Shareholders

Shareholders holding shares in physical form are advised that maintaining complete and updated KYC details is mandatory for continued processing of dividends and interest payments. The company outlined specific implications related to the updating process:

• If a shareholder has not updated their PAN, Contact Details or Mobile Number, Bank Account Details, or Specimen Signature regarding their physical folios, dividend or interest will be paid only through electronic mode, effective from April 01, 2024, provided all required details are furnished completely.
• For those who update the necessary details including PAN, Contact Details (including Mobile Number), Bank Account Details and Specimen Signature after April 01, 2024, they will receive dividends or interest declared during that period (from April 01, 2024, until the date of updation) automatically.

The notice urged shareholders to immediately comply with these requirements to ensure timely credit of dividend amounts to their bank accounts. The company also warned that if KYC details are not updated as advised, any dividend payable against their holdings will be withheld.

Shareholders holding shares in physical form were also strongly advised to convert their shares from physical form to demat form at the earliest possible opportunity.
