
BASF India Completes Divestiture of Stake in Coatings Subsidiary for INR 230.16 Crore
BASF India Limited has successfully concluded the divestment of its entire equity stake in BASF India Coatings Private Limited. The transaction was finalized on June 30, 2026, following the receipt of the agreed consideration from the buyers.The sale involved transferring the company's 100% stake in BASF India Coatings Private Limited to Bond German BidCo 2 GmbH and Bond France BidCo SAS (Carlyle Group Companies). The entire transaction was completed for a consideration amount of INR 230.16 crore, which had been determined by an Independent Valuer.
With the completion of this sale, BASF India Coatings Private Limited has ceased to be a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF India Limited.
