
Bank of Baroda’s Capital Raising Committee Meeting Set as Bank Eyes up to Rs 6,000 Crore in Bond Issuance
Bank of Baroda has scheduled a meeting of its Capital Raising Committee (CRC) to determine the issuance of Additional Tier 1 and Tier II Bonds. The decision follows prior approval from the Board of Directors regarding the potential fundraising efforts.The Bank’s Board of Directors had previously approved the raising of additional capital, up to Rs 6,000 Crore, through the issuance of Additional Tier 1 (AT1) and/or Tier II Bonds. This funding initiative is planned for suitable tranches and is scheduled to take place up to March 31, 2027, and beyond if deemed necessary.
In line with this strategic capital raising plan, the Capital Raising Committee meeting has been set for August 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The purpose of the CRC meeting is specifically to decide on the issuance of Additional Tier 1 and Tier II bonds.
