Operational Momentum Driving Growth​

The Company detailed several operational achievements that contributed to the strong financial figures. Through its cluster-based expansion strategy, Baazar Style Retail scaled its physical footprint from 214 stores in FY25 to 263 stores in FY26, marking a 23% increase in store count.

Furthermore, the total retail area saw a robust 28% year-on-year increase, reaching 2.46 million square feet. A key strategic success was the growth of the Private Labels portfolio, which expanded its share in overall revenue from 45% in FY25 to 53% in FY26. This segment generated revenues of Rs 9,770 Mn, representing a 62% year-on-year growth.

In the focus states, the Company achieved a robust 57% year-on-year growth, contributing Rs 3,248 million in revenue and increasing its contribution to 18% of revenue from operations, up from 15% in FY25.

Strategic Outlook and Investments​

The Company provided a growth outlook for FY27, targeting a full-year revenue growth of 25% year-on-year and a Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) of 7-8%.

During FY26, Baazar Style Retail also secured a strategic investment of Rs 331.53 crore from Cupid Limited through a preferential issue of up to 1.01 crore equity warrants. Of this investment, approximately Rs 119.81 crore has already been received. Cupid Limited, an Indian FMCG player with a presence in over 110 countries, will support the Company's entry into the personal care and wellness segment. The proceeds from this investment are expected to support store additions, debt repayment, and strengthening the balance sheet.

To facilitate future scalable growth, the Company is making significant investments in digital infrastructure. Plans include implementing SAP ERP within the next six months, alongside deploying Infor WMS, Goldratt replenishment systems, and Domo analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and data-driven decision-making. The Company is also targeting expansion to 450-500 stores over the next three years, with annual additions of 50-70 stores.

Baazar Style Retail Limited shares today slipped by 6.31% to settle at ₹370.05, marking a significant drop from previous levels. The equity settled after a day of heavy trading, with a reported volume of 887,627 shares.
