Bengaluru, January 27, 2026: AXISCADES Technologies Limited (NSE: AXISCADES | BSE: 532395) on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, an Embraer group company, to scale its global presence in aerospace and defence manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
Under the partnership, AXISCADES will work with OGMA to provide advanced MRO, airframe engineering and certification services for both commercial and military aircraft platforms. The collaboration is aimed at supporting Embraer and other aircraft manufacturers’ fleets, including VVIP and VIP aircraft, airborne early warning and control platforms, and commercial aircraft operating in India and other high-growth regions.
The alliance brings together AXISCADES’ engineering capabilities across aircraft design, avionics, radar, electronic warfare and unmanned systems with OGMA’s long-standing expertise in airframe and engine MRO backed by more than a century of operational experience.
Focus on India, UAE and MENA Markets
As part of the agreement, the two companies will jointly explore business opportunities across India, the UAE and the wider Middle East and North Africa region. The partnership also provides AXISCADES access to OGMA’s established network with global original equipment manufacturers, including Embraer, Airbus Defence, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney, strengthening its positioning across multiple aircraft platforms.Infrastructure Expansion Near Bengaluru Airport
AXISCADES is in the process of developing one of India’s largest integrated aerospace and defence manufacturing and MRO hubs near the Bengaluru International Airport. The upcoming facility is planned to house dedicated aircraft hangars, engine and speed shops, a welding centre of excellence, strategic electronics manufacturing units, system integration facilities and certification testing infrastructure.Through this collaboration, the company aims to leverage OGMA’s global experience to build indigenous MRO capabilities and support long-term, high-value service programmes within India.
