Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Lannett Company, Inc., from Lannett Seller Holdco, Inc. This strategic move follows securing approval from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission on June 18, 2026.

Effective June 29, 2026, Lannett has officially become a wholly owned subsidiary of APUSA and will operate as Lannett Company LLC.

The integration process between the two entities is set to commence immediately. The company emphasized that its immediate focus includes ensuring uninterrupted access to critical medications, sustaining trusted relationships with partners, and providing support to employees throughout the transition period. By combining their respective capabilities and resources, the organization aims to enhance the availability of essential medicines and deliver sustained, long-term value to customers, stakeholders, and patients.

In addition to the acquisition completion, APUSA welcomed more than 400 Lannett employees into its organization. This influx strengthens APUSA's operational capabilities and talent base. The management team extended sincere appreciation to Lannett's leadership for enabling a smooth transition and for their valuable contributions to the newly combined entity.
