Atlanta Electricals Ltd Secures ₹285 Crore Order for Power Transformers from PSTCL
Atlanta Electricals Limited, a leading manufacturer of power transformers, has secured an order worth approximately ₹285 crore from the Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL). The contract involves the supply of specialized equipment critical to transmission infrastructure.As per the Letter of Award received from PSTCL, the order includes 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66 kV Power Transformers. The scope of work also encompasses the Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing System (NIFPES) along with optional spares. The aggregate value of the contract is approximately ₹285.15 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes.
Mr. Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals Limited, stated that this order reflects the continued trust placed in the company's execution capabilities for delivering high-capacity transformers. He noted that the long-standing association with PSTCL demonstrates the company’s ability to consistently meet technical and operational requirements. The contract is expected to strengthen Atlanta Electricals’ presence in the state while supporting capacity utilization across its manufacturing facilities.
Atlanta Electricals began its professional relationship with PSTCL in 2018. Since commencing operations, the company has supplied approximately 200 transformers to PSTCL, achieving an aggregate installed capacity of around 5,000 MVA across Punjab. The new contract further reinforces the company's capability to supply technologically advanced power transformers to leading state utilities.
