Mumbai, 31 July 2026: Astec LifeSciences Limited (Astec) announced its consolidated financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), comparing performance against Q1 FY26. The company reported a total income of ₹84.3 crore, marking an improvement in operational metrics compared to the previous year.

The results show a trend toward improved profitability across key indicators, despite a decline in overall revenue. Astec achieved EBITDA breakeven in Q1 FY27, contrasting with an EBITDA loss of ₹10.5 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company also reduced its net loss after tax for the quarter.

Segment and Operational Overview​

The improvement in the consolidated EBITDA figure is attributed to favorable product mix, enhanced capacity utilization at plants, and improved margins within both the Enterprise and Contract Manufacturing segments.

Revenue from Enterprise Products saw significant year-on-year growth of 41.6%, reaching ₹51.8 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹36.5 crore in Q1 FY26.

In contrast, revenue generated from Contract Manufacturing and New Products stood at ₹31.8 crore in Q1 FY27, down from ₹54.6 crore in Q1 FY26. This decline was largely attributed to the high base recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

By geography, Exports accounted for ₹33.3 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to ₹45.9 crore in Q1 FY26, showing a decline of 27.5%. Domestic sales revenue stood at ₹50.3 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹45.2 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting an increase of 11.3%.

Mr. Vishal Sharma, Chairperson of Astec LifeSciences Limited, commented on the performance, noting that the agrochemical sector continues to manage demand supply imbalance which is anticipated to stabilize over the medium term and positively support the industry.
